On Friday, January 17, Justin Blanding scored his 1,000th point against North Pocono during the basketball game at the Wallenpaupack home court.The game was a crowd pleaser and a tough game, but he hit a three-pointer on his first attempt, and he hit the milestone. He eventually scored many points, giving the Buckhorns the win against North Pocono by a score of 66 to 55. This is a huge achievement in someone’s high school basketball career, and he is just the ninth player in ‘Paupack history to reach the 1000-point mark. Justin Blanding has been playing basketball sincekindergarten. Justin’s favorite thing about basketball is the challenging work that he put in, and the success that would show in the outcome. He is not sure if he will continue playing in his collage years, but we wish the best for him and his future.
