Color Run Success

On Friday, May 15, The Arc of Wayne County held its annual Color Run at Wallenpaupack North Primary School, bringing together community members of all ages for a day centered around fun, inclusion, and support. Special thanks are extended to “the Color Run Crew” Devin Okun, Sarah Toigo, Erin Zubrickas, Alexa Mihalik, and Bridget Donovan for coordinating and helping make this event possible.

The Color Run serves as a fundraiser for Dyberry Day Camp, a local program that supports children and young adults with developmental disabilities throughout the community. As an annual tradition, the event continues to unite families, students, and local organizations for an important cause while creating an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for all involved.

This year’s event saw tremendous success, with more than 300 participants registered to run or walk on the colorful course. Volunteers, spectators, and community members came together to support the fundraiser, creating an energetic environment filled with encouragement, laughter, and bright bursts of color throughout the evening.

Volunteers played an important role in organizing stations, guiding participants, and cheering runners on along the route. Their dedication, combined with the strong turnout from the community, highlighted the continued support for programs like Dyberry Day Camp and the opportunities they provide for children and families throughout the area.

With another successful Color Run completed, the annual event once again proved to be both a fun community tradition and a meaningful way to make a positive impact locally.
