This past week, May 5 to May 9, was Teacher Appreciation Week. Coordinated by student council, the week is meant to show teachers how much we care and appreciate them. This is a yearly tradition at Wallenpaupack. The student council planned things such as a staff breakfast after their May 7 faculty meeting, and on May 8, they drove around a cart filled with candy and trinkets for staff. Tomorrow, May 16, there is also a car wash for staff. This week overall is to show acts of kindness to the teachers and staff that spend countless hours giving us an education.
