Carrie (2013) is about a shy teenage girl named Carrie who is bullied at school and treated badly by her extremely strict and religious mother. One day, she discovers that she has special powers that allow her to move things with her mind. When a classmate invites her to prom, Carrie feels happy and excited. However, her classmates play a cruel prank on her, causing her to lose control of her powers. This leads to a night full of fear, anger, and destruction.
