The Buckhorns went away to play Valley View on Friday and got a win for their last game of the regular season, twenty-seven to thirteen. Prior to this game, the Buckhorns were on a bit of a losing streak during the latter half of the season. In their last game before this they had a hard loss to North Pocono. Valley View also had a loss in their last game, where they lost to Scranton Prep in a low scoring game fourteen to seven. The Buckhorns play their best when they can take a lead early, which they did in this one. In the first quarter Ed Kiesendahl scored his first of three touchdowns early, giving the Buckhorns a seven-to-zero lead at the end of the first. He scored another touchdown in the second quarter, and Colby Bonagura scored a thirty-two yard field goal. This increased Wallenpaupack led seventeen to nothing at half time.

Valley view started to make a bit of a comeback in the third quarter with their first touchdown of the night. The Buckhorns did not get discouraged, and Colby Bonagura sunk another field goal. Valley View was not willing to accept defeat either, as Colin Witkowski picked up a fumble and ran it in for another touchdown. The Buckhorns were still up twenty to thirteen at the end of the third. During the fourth quarter Billy Motz got an interception, and it led to Ed Kiesendahl scoring his third and final touchdown of the night. As Valley View was fighting for a comeback, Kiesendahl had another astonishing play; he got an interception to shut them down and finish the game. The Buckhorns played a great game and won twenty-seven to thirteen. Next up, the Buckhorns play their first playoff game at home against Berwick tomorrow night at home.
