On Thursday, October 22, the freshman took a trip to Marywood University, Keystone College, Scranton University, and Johnson College. The students were given a tour by a college student or a member of the staff at the college they were touring. They visited many of the college’s facilities, including their libraries, cafeterias, and gyms. They also visited different areas of the campus, such as the architecture portion, the medical sciences building, the business section, and the dorm rooms. Jordana Seltzer, a freshman that took part in the trip, said, “The college tour was a great opportunity to experience campus life firsthand and provided very helpful information about college life and coursework.” Mr. Rich McGinnis, a teacher that went on the trip, said, We are very thankful for the opportunity to be able to tour these colleges and take a look at what college life is like.
