Samira Feller, a senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School, is a light hearted presence who always does her best to be welcoming to those around her. She participates in both soccer and swim, with swim being her favorite because of how long she has been involved in the sport. Outside of her teams, she also enjoys playing tennis with her friends.
Throughout high school, swim has given Samira some of her proudest accomplishments. During her junior year, she made it to states in swimming, an achievement that stands out as one of the highlights of her high school career. She is also proud of earning high honors every year throughout high school.
As she enters her final year at Wallenpaupack, Samira has several goals she hopes to accomplish. She wants to continue doing well academically while also working toward making nationals in swimming. Her experiences on her teams have been an important part of her high school years, and some of her favorite memories come from spending time with her teammates. She also looks back fondly on the time she spent in Mrs. Peifer’s class.
After graduation, Samira plans to attend Bryn Mawr, where she is considering studying biology or sports management. She also hopes to continue swimming by joining the college’s swim team. Although she is not yet certain what career she wants to pursue, she is considering a career that involves biology. Further into the future, Samira hopes to build a career that she genuinely enjoys and that does not feel limited to a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. She also hopes to eventually move to New York.
Above all, Samira hopes her classmates remember her as someone who was fun, lighthearted, and humorous, while also being responsible and a good leader. She wants to be someone others feel comfortable around and can remember fondly after graduation.
