The 2026 live-action Masters of the Universe is an entertaining fantasy adventure that successfully brings the classic He-Man story to a modern audience. Directed by Travis Knight, the movie follows Prince Adam, played by Nicholas Galitzine, as he returns to Eternia after years on Earth and discovers that his home has been taken over by the powerful Skeletor. One of the movie’s strongest features is its visual effects, which make the world of Eternia feel large and believable, while the action scenes keep the story exciting. The cast also gives the characters more personality, especially Galitzine’s portrayal of Adam as someone who must learn to accept his responsibilities and become He-Man. However, the movie sometimes relies heavily on familiar fantasy and superhero ideas, which can make parts of the story feel predictable. Overall, Masters of the Universe is a fun and visually impressive movie that combines action, humor, and nostalgia while giving the classic franchise a new interpretation.
