Erika Badner is an active senior, both in and out of the classroom at Wallenpaupack Area High School. She has been a rock within many activities in our school. Erika states that she has been a part of, “band, environmental club, tennis, and basketball (her personal favorites), softball, track, student council, and student ambassadors.”
Her determination and grit for all her activities is inspirational, especially her tennis accomplishments. She maintains that her biggest accomplishment was last fall when she won the District Two doubles competition, for tennis, and moved on to compete at states, which she said, “not a lot of people can say.”
Her dedication to her sports and her teammates is what she acknowledges as her fondest memories while in high school.
Erika’s piece of advice for underclassmen is to, “get involved,” just like she did because the school has so many opportunities to put yourself out there. Finally, after graduation, she plans to attend Lebanon Valley College, and enter their program to become a physical therapist.
