On Thursday, October 22, the girls’ soccer team played Montrose and took the win by a score of 1-0. This was a huge win for the girls and sets them up strong for their playoff game on Saturday, October 31. The Montrose win was also Coach Amon’s birthday, and the girls were able to give her a huge win as a present. This week, they will be focusing on small details of their game to prepare for the game on Saturday.
The boys’ soccer team ended their past week with their Senior Night where they lost by a score of 5-2 with goals by Dawid Mrowka and Liam Magee. This game was against North Pocono and proved to be tough as North Pocono started the game with strong offense, scoring three goals in the first half, and they continued this energy into the second half where they scored two. As the boys go through this week they are preparing for their first playoff game on Friday, October 30 against Pittston.’
