Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is a dystopian novel where books are banned and burned in a society. Guy Montag, who is the main character, works as a fireman and must burn these books, but he begins questioning his job and the foundation of their society. I read this book over the summer, but the story stuck with me because it delivers a message on how censorship is dangerous and independent thinking is important. Parts of the story may be confusing, but the overall message is good for people to hear. I would recommend this story because it encourages readers to want to learn for themselves.
