In every school community, there are students in clubs and activities working quietly to make sure no one feels alone—and Aevidum is one of those efforts.

Aevidum is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and building a supportive community for all. Originally founded to address mental health concerns among teenagers, Aevidum has grown over time to support individuals of all ages, including members of the elderly population and those experiencing homelessness.

At the core of Aevidum’s mission is the idea of being there for others in meaningful ways. Members and leadership work together to organize events, fundraise, and recruit new students, while also fostering a culture of support and kindness. The leadership team plays an active role in making sure students feel heard and supported, whether that means connecting someone with professional mental health resources or simply being a friend when needed.

Although Aevidum is student-led, the Paupack chapter is guided by faculty advisors Mrs. Frayko and Mrs. McGinnis, who help support its initiatives and mission.

Students interested in joining Aevidum have several opportunities to get involved. Membership can be added during advisory selection at the beginning of the semester, by speaking directly with the advisors, or by connecting with any member of the leadership team for help signing up. Students can also join during the Mental Health Fair on May 1.
