The Wallenpaupack girls’ lacrosse team continues to mesh and work better together as they go throughout games. Though the final score against Crestwood was a 19-1 loss, the girls completed passes, fought for ground balls, and showed grit until the end of the game. The lone goal from the Bucks was scored by Sophie Fontano.

The girls played their first inaugural home game against Scranton Prep on Tuesday. In a 14-3 final, the girls only gave up a mere 21 shots, which is 20 less than any other game, with 7 saves coming from goalie Carly Wolff. Goals from Sophie Fontano, Ivy Frangos, and Ava Hoffman led the team to their closest game yet. The girls will travel to Wyoming Area today and will play two homes games next Tuesday and Thursday against Tunkhannock and Dallas, respectively.
