In such a fast-moving world, someone like Shannon Jaycox is ready to take advantage of it and make her mark. She is a runner on the track and cross country teams and has loved the discipline that she has learned and the connections she has made. These two teams have helped her to become a better version of herself and have taught her the meaning of good friendships.
Outside of sports, Shannon is a student ambassador where she enjoys meeting new people of all different occupations and backgrounds. She loves building these bonds and hearing the story of everyone that she has met. In her free time, Shannon likes spending time with friends, running, and playing cards and board games.
After she graduates, Shannon wants to continue her education at Elizabethtown College where she plans to study international business. Inspired by her love of connecting with people, she plans to get a job in international trade. She would love to work in a big city like Manhattan to pursue this dream.
Shannon’s biggest inspiration so far has been her mother. She will take the lessons that she has learned from her far into her future. Shannon is also deeply grateful for Coach Brown, whose encouragement and support through high school has motivated her to become the person she is today. Shannon is leaving high school equipped with the lessons and relationships that will help her make her impact on this ever-changing world.
