Colton Greene, a senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School, is a resilient and dedicated individual. During his time at Wallenpaupack, he has participated in several sports, including varsity track and his favorite, the varsity swim team. Colton loves being part of the swim team and says that some of his favorite high school memories are the meets he shared with his teammates.
In addition to being an athlete, Colton is highly focused on academics and his future goals. He plans to graduate from medical school with a PhD and become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). He is currently a member of HOSA and recently attended the State Leadership Conference in Hershey, where he competed with other students from across Pennsylvania. Colton has committed to the University of Scranton, where he plans to continue pursuing his dream.
Colton’s biggest inspiration has been his mother. He shares that seeing how she is “able to show resilience and perseverance through her chronic illness” has been life-changing and has shaped the way he views life. Her strength helped guide him toward the career path he hopes to follow.
Colton hopes to be remembered as someone who always helps others and encourages people to take care of themselves. He never wants anyone to feel like they are alone. Those who know him already see this in his personality—many say he can bring laughter during difficult moments and always helps lift the mood.
We wish Colton the very best of luck in his future.
