Ingredients
- 6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and halved
- 2 tbsp butter (softened)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½–1 tsp hot sauce (like Tabasco)
- 2 tsp pickle brine or olive brine (optional)
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Optional garnishes: paprika, fresh chives, bacon, etc.
Instructions
- Prep eggs:
Slice hard-cooked eggs in half lengthwise and scoop yolks into a bowl. - Make filling:
Mash yolks with softened butter. Add mayo, Dijon, hot sauce, and optional brine; mix until smooth. Season with salt & pepper. - Assemble:
Spoon or pipe filling back into egg whites. - Garnish & serve:
Sprinkle with paprika, chives, or your favorite toppings before serving.
