Jessieann Gallagher, a senior at Wallenpaupack, is known for her drive and commitment to making the most of every opportunity she is given. Outside of school, she enjoys various hobbies including snowboarding, thrifting, baking, and running.
Throughout high school, Jessieann has been actively involved in cross country, track, FBLA, and the Ambassador program. While each activity has played an important role in her growth, track holds a special place for her. She enjoys the competitiveness of the sport and the constant challenge of pushing herself to improve. Track allows her to measure her progress, set goals, and see the results of her hard work firsthand.
Jessieann plans to attend a four-year college after graduation, though she is still deciding where she will go. She hopes to pursue a career in the business field, with marketing currently being her top interest. Her involvement in FBLA has been especially influential in shaping this goal, as it gave her real-world exposure to business concepts and encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone. Through FBLA, she discovered a passion for leadership, communication, and professional growth.
One of Jessieann’s proudest accomplishments was qualifying for FBLA Nationals and going to California, an experience that was both rewarding and unforgettable. She also takes immense pride in her athletic achievements, including advancing to states for cross country and continuing to strive for success in track. Some of her favorite memories come from late-night track meets, especially running the 4×4 relay. The pressure, excitement, and energy of being in the final event taught her confidence and resilience, and earning medals after those races made every ounce of effort worthwhile.
As she finishes her senior year, Jessieann’s goal is to live fully in every moment. She is deeply grateful for her friends and how much they have shaped her into who she is today. She is proud to carry parts of each of them with her in the future.
