Science is everywhere. Life is science, and a student who recognizes that specifically is Anthony Lin. Anthony is a senior who embodies diligence, humor, and creativity. Anthony has been a part of the Wallenpaupack Area School District since fourth grade, and since then, has grown and developed into the person he is today. Anthony has been a part of a few clubs throughout his school career. He joined Volunteers in Paupack (VIP) his sophomore year and joined National Art Society along with General Council during his senior year.

Anthony fostered his love for art during his sophomore year, and as time elapsed, along with his art skills, he started to gain a love for the craft. “I realized I could help the community through art,” he said.

His favorite art piece was his chalk pastel drawing of Tyler the Creator that he made his sophomore year. Although he joys the hobby a lot, his true passion falls in the science field.

Anthony plans to go to NYU and major in either biology or animal science. Anthony has always had an interest in science since he was young. He found the labs that he did during his science classes interesting and enjoyed the way that his teachers taught him the subject. Along with his interest in biology, he also wanted to be a vet since he was a child. He also would like to volunteer to help the community in the future.

Outside of his college search, he looks back upon the memories he made throughout his years here. His favorite event was the blowout bash that the student council hosted during his freshmen and sophomore years, stating that it was, “a really nice way to end the year.” He would like to thank Dr. Schmalzle, who he spent his entire school year with so far and enjoyed her teachings, and Mrs. Fives, for teaching him AP biology and helping him love the field even more. We wish Anthony the best of luck in his future and cannot wait to see him continue in his love for science.
