The East Stroudsburg Area School District’s North High School visited the Wallenpaupack CTE programs on Monday, October 6. Last year, Wayne and Pike Counties came together to create a Career and Technical Center, (CTC) building for all neighboring school districts including Wayne Highlands, Western Wayne, East Stroudsburg, and Delaware Valley, so that they can come together and give students more opportunities for their CTE’s and for more space to instruct the students. The programs and the building still are in the planning stages.
Paupack has nine CTEs, including Automotive, Building Trades, Allied Health, Protective Services, Culinary Arts, Childcare, Exercise Science, Engineering, and Aviation. Each of these programs teaches children a lot about the field, and it shows students how to engage in their work. The school district is very grateful for the CTC building to come.
