This week our girls came out hungry and ready to play, facing two teams they had previously beaten. On Tuesday, September 30, they traveled to Tunkhannock to claim a win against the Lady Tigers. That they did, securing another shutout, scoring 4-0. After this uplifting and much-needed game, they took on Hanover Area the following day, Wednesday, October 1 on our turf. Although our girls were expecting an easy win, they had a couple of hiccups. That same night was the induction ceremony into the National Honor Society. With four key players—Grace Lake, Sarah Cardiello, Ava Hoffman, and Molly Cunningham—absent due to the ceremony, our girls came out ready to step up and fill in for them. They closed out this game with a score of 9-0. Congratulations to our field hockey team for such a big win, and to our four Honor Athletes.
