Ella Smith, a senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School, has left a lasting impact through her dedication, leadership, and team spirit. Known for her heart and determination, Ella is a three-sport varsity athlete in soccer, basketball, and track and field. Her proudest moment came when her basketball team won the division championship her sophomore year—a memory she treasures as she prepares for college, where she plans to study Physical Therapy or Pre-Veterinary Science.
Beyond athletics, Ella serves as executive council secretary for Student Council, secretary for Aevidum, and is a member of National Honor Society. Her remarkable achievement in FBLA’s Introduction to Business Presentation took her to nationals, where she earned top honors in 2023. She also excelled in Mrs. Ragonese’s Exercise Science and Sports Medicine CTE program, a class she values greatly, crediting Mrs. Rags with guiding her career path and inspiring her to pursue her dreams.
Reflecting on her journey, Ella shares that she will miss her teams, friends, and teachers most. Her legacy at Wallenpaupack is one of kindness, ambition, and a genuine heart for others. We wish her all the best as she steps into a promising future!
