The WAHS varsity field hockey team ended its regular season last week with a record of 11-7. Led by captains Sophia Burbridge, Aubrey Folk, and Allison Sterner, the team worked hard all season to remain competitive and improve their skills. They found themselves in numerous close games and were able to close out the season with more wins than losses. This landed them the 4th seed heading into in district playoffs, earning a home game in the first round. Unfortunately, they lost a tough battle against Delaware Valley to end their season. The team wishes the best to the seniors who will be moving on, while the underclassmen get geared up for next season.
