On October 15, the Wallenpaupack cross-country team had their last official race of the season. The race was set at the Honesdale course, and it was the second time the team had raced there this season. TheBuckhorns ran against Holy Cross, Scranton Prep, and Carbondale. Both the boys and girls had demolished the other teams that night. The boys defeated Scranton Prep 23-35, Holy Cross 18-44, and Carbondale 15-50. The girls faced a similar fate with the teams as they beat Scranton Prep 17-44, Holy Cross 17-42, and Carbondale 15-50. The boys were undefeated this season with a record of 23-0, while the girls lost twice this season and ended with a record of 21-2. The teams will be heading to districts on Wednesday, October 23, at Wyoming Country Fairgrounds. Let us hope the teams finish the season with their usual amazing efforts.
