On May 9, the Unified Track team became regional champions after defeating both Honesdale and North Pocono! Now the team will be going to the league championship that took place on Wednesday, May 22 at Lakeland, then to states on Friday and Saturday in Shippensburg. For leagues the Buckhorns will be one of six teams at Lakeland, with everyone on the team, which is 27 boys and girls, competing. The team left early in the morning on Wednesday, due to the meet taking place during the day. Now, for states only 12 athletes are allowed to participate, but going to states is a huge accomplishment. The team will leave for states on Friday morning and will be back on Saturday night.
