We all want to be tan, but sometimes we have to look at the logical side of our aspirations. Sunscreen is very important in preventing skin cancer. It is caused by long, unprotected hours in sunlight. Sun poisoning is also a consequence of not wearing sunscreen, causing blistering skin, nausea, and a high fever. If you have sun poisoning, your time in the sun and chances of getting tan decrease so you can recover. Long-term exposure to the sun without sunscreen makes your skin more prone to wrinkles.
Wearing sunscreen also applies to playing outside. Whether it be sports or swimming in the summer, it takes only a few minutes to protect yourself from the sun by applying sunscreen. SPF 30 or higher is recommended by dermatologists. To protect your skin as much as possible, reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. Enjoy the outdoors with the peace of mind of knowing your skin is protected!
