Linus Bond, a senior at Wallenpaupack, is someone who values both hard work and meaningful connections. Throughout high school, he has dedicated much of his time to staying active and challenging himself academically. He loves going to the gym and playing basketball with his friends, building not only strength but also lasting friendships. One of his favorite high school memories was winning basketball districts during his sophomore year, a moment that brought his team together and gave him a true sense of accomplishment.

Among his many interests, learning has become one of Linus’s greatest passions. Although he once struggled to figure out what truly interested him, he continued to take difficult classes and push himself academically. It wasn’t until his junior and senior years that he began seriously thinking about his future and what path he wanted to follow. Now, with a clearer vision, Linus plans to attend college to study kinesiology and pursue a career in physical therapy. While he is still deciding on a school, he hopes to attend Cornell University. His long-term goal is to work in the physical therapy field and eventually open his own clinic, combining his love for fitness with a desire to help others.

Mrs. Ragonese has been Linus’s biggest inspiration throughout high school. He describes her as one of the greatest people he knows, someone who motivates him to continue learning and to work hard for his future. Her encouragement has helped shape his determination and focus.

This year, Linus has set ambitious goals for himself, including earning a 5 on both his AP Calculus and AP Literature exams. Alongside these academic aspirations, he hopes to continue making memories with his friends during his final year.

Above all, Linus wants to be remembered as someone who loves to learn, treats others with kindness, and is always willing to help someone in need. Through his dedication and growth, he has worked to become exactly that person.
