Automotive workers are hardworking individuals. Without them, people would not be able to get their jobs done. Landon Shanaberger, a senior at Wallenpaupack, decided to join those hard-working individuals, and join the automotive team. Landon gained the interest due to his father, who helped work with a minor NASCAR team and worked in the largest vaccine manufacturer in the Pocono Mountains. “When I was growing up, I was always watching shows and going on motorcycle rides with my father,” Landon answered passionately.
Due to his found interest from his father, he decided to join the Automotive CTE program his freshmen year and follow him.
Landon had many great opportunities with the program, as he gets to test in the highest class for all his competitions, making his love for the passion stronger. He has many favorite projects he got to work on, but his favorites are wolfing projects from his sophomore year, which introduced him to his passion for welding. Landon plans to attend the University of Northwest Ohio, where he plans on dual majoring in automotive technology and high-performance fabrication. While he is there, he states that he will Jin their oval racing team and earn his CDL. He would highly encourage students to go into any trade, not just Audi or building. There are a lot of great opportunities out there.” Landon said. We wish Landon the best of luck in his future and can not wait to see how he is in the future.
