This week, Christopher Ledesma will be shining brightly on Senior Spotlight. Chris is highly involved within Wallenpaupack. He was a part of the wrestling team during his freshman to junior years. He is an active member of Volunteers in Paupack starting his junior year, along with being in the National Honors Society, and is a member of Aevidum. In his junior year, he participated in Senator for a Day where they looked at laws and ran a mock senate. Outside of school, Chris is a third degree knight in the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal service organization, and is an active volunteer in the church of Hemlock Farm’s food pantry.

Christopher’s favorite memory is when he had to present a project on the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and he went off topic to discuss nuclear energy. Showing his kind spirit, Chris’ greatest achievement is helping people and making them happy through the food pantry and through the small conversations he has with them and others.

Looking towards the future, Chris will be attending Duquesne University where he will study business law, partaking in a program which allows him to get his bachelor’s degree in three years, and then switching to law school to get his JD (Juris Doctor). He hopes to become a criminal defense attorney.
