By: Sutton Rizzo

These Christmas ornaments are a great use of your time and would look great on your Christmas tree.

Materials:

·      Cardboard

·      Glue

·      Yarn

Step 1:

Cut shapes for the ornaments from cardboard.

·      Cut out a cardboard circle for the wreath

·      Draw and cut out a cardboard star.

Step 2:

Cut the yarn into very small pieces, approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) or less.

Step 3:

Spread lots of glue on the cardboard shape. Use your finger or a paint brush to spread it over the whole surface.

Step 4:

Drop a thick handful of the small yarn pieces onto the glue. Cover the shape completely.

Step 5:

Place a piece of parchment paper or a foam tray over the yarn. Press gently.

The parchment paper will prevent the glue and yarn from sticking to your fingers as you press on the yarn to secure it to the cardboard.

Step 6:

Trim yarn that hangs loosely over the sides if preferred. Press it into the wreath where there might be open areas. Add a bit of glue if necessary.

Step 7:

Tape a piece of yarn to the back for a hanger.

This completes your Christmas Yarn Wreath.
