The last week of the regular season wasn’t ideal for the girls. They first faced North Pocono on Monday, October 12, and it was played under the lights, making it extremely cold and foggy. Through the rain, both teams battled but with a few good shots by North Pocono’s offense, they took the win by a score of 3-0.
Next, the girls traveled to Mid Valley to face them on their Senior Night. Another cold game, this time without rain, was a battle between teams. Mid Valley did come out with a win by a score of 4-0. Compared to the girls’ last game against Mid Valley, a 5-0 loss, this was an improvement by letting in 1 fewer goal.
The girls did make playoffs and will be playing either Valley View or Abington Heights away. Both of these teams will be a challenging game and a must win. The girls will have to win their next game to keep their season going.
