The boys had a strong end to their regular season, winning both of their games this past week. First, they faced Scranton High School on Monday, October 12. This game was fought through a downpour, fog, and freezing conditions, making simple motions difficult. Despite this, the boys won 4-2. In this game, Dawid Mrowka and Robert Kratzer both scored 2 goals.
Next, the boys had their Senior Night where they faced North Pocono. These conditions were also cold, but the rain was replaced by a supportive, loud student section. This was a very physical game, with many tackles and shoves but at the end Paupack outscored North Pocono by a score of 2-0. This year’s seniors are Rylan Downey, Jasper Hathaway, Ryan Kapschull, Thomas Kiersted, Robert Kratzer, Colin McClintock, Dylan Miller, Landon Shanaberger, and Ethan VanDerPlaats. Also a senior is their team manager, Kaitlin Williams. Overall, the night was a success and a great way to honor this year’s seniors.
