The Buckhorn Field Hockey team is winning with a record of 5 and 1. The team recently played against Holy Redeemer at their field on Thursday, September 11. This was the first game of the season played on a grass field, letting the team show their true strength. The game started out a bit bumpy, but they were able to pick it up together during the second quarter. The game ended with the girls winning by a score of four to two. The goals were scored by Emma Ey, scoring twice, Annie James, and Alyssa Galasso. Ava Hoffmann was honored with the game ball, which is a tradition given to a player who does very well on the field. The girls have had an amazing season so far, with them only losing one game the whole season. Go Bucks!
