The Protective Services CTE Dodgeball tournament was held Saturday, March 29th. From 11am-4 pm, nine teams battled for the grand prize of a $25 gift card to the Wallenpaupack Brewery, while the top three all received 3D printed trophies. One team was made up of Fire Services students, another of the Law Enforcement students. The other teams consisted of other first responders around the area, which included but is not limited to the Pennsylvania State Police, Blooming Grove Fire, Lakeville Fire, Honesdale Fire, and others. The 1st place team was Honesdale Fire, the 2nd place was Blooming Grove Fire, and 3rd place was Lakeville Fire. During the event, they sold t-shirts, food and drinks and received 15% of sales from Rita’s between 11am-5pm. This event was overall a remarkable success to help the community connect with the first responders and become fonder of the men and woman who keep their community safe.
