Blood Drive Recap

 By: Kiana Madrigal

On February 27, from 8:30am to 2:15pm, the American Red Cross drew blood from the students and staff and donated it to people in need of transfusions or other medical issues. Before donating, patients were screened through a health history to check if they meet all the requirements. After donating, snacks and drinks were provided. The snacks included pretzels and granola bars, while water and juice were handed out, along with a complementary Red Cross dry bag. Forty-five units of blood were collected, which is the most amount collected in a blood drive since the Health Occupational Students of America (HOSA) has been at Wallenpaupack!
