On Monday, October 28th, Wallenpaupack High School hosted Scholar Night in the main gym. Thanks to the diligent efforts of NHS members and the executive council who assisted Dr. Caruso, the night was well organized and smoothly run.
The event recognized the academic achievements of about 407 students from the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. These students were honored for their hard efforts and academic achievements.
To receive a gold plaque, students needed to achieve High Honor Roll in both semesters (of the prior year), while a silver plaque was awarded for any combination of High Honor Roll and Honor Roll.
This year, 144 students earned gold plaques, and 265 received silver plaques. Achieving these honors required a minimum GPA of 85 for Honor Roll and a minimum of 95 for High Honor Roll. The evening was a testament to the hard work and dedication of Wallenpaupack’s students and a recognition of their academic success.
