With the end of the year coming around the corner, Paupack Press must think about all the seniors we will lose to graduation. This year, we will be losing three talented writers, and those writers are Lily Struble, Sadie Zagwoski, and Ryan Tattersall. Each writer has had a very different experience with Paupack Press, and this is what they have to say about their experiences.

Sadie Zagwoski joined the paper last October, and she has since written numerous articles, focusing on Wallenpaupack Area High School’s clubs and Student Council events. Her contributions greatly benefited The Paupack Press, providing valuable insights and coverage. Writing for the paper gave Sadie her first experience in journalism. We wish her the best of luck as she heads to Penn State, and we hope to see her continue her journalism journey with The Daily Collegian, Penn State’s student-run newspaper.

Ryan Tattersall made a big impact on the school newspaper by writing about the softball team. Covering the team was exciting for him, and it really helped improve his communication skills. Thanks to his work with The Paupack Press, Ryan found many new opportunities in sports communications, shaping his future in this field. Good luck at the University of Kentucky!

Lily Struble, the first semester Editor-in-Chief, played a crucial role in the success of The Paupack Press. Her passion for journalism and writing drove her to excel in her position. Lily developed strong interview and investigative skills, which not only benefited the newspaper but will also serve her well in college. During her tenure, she formed valuable relationships and networks within the district and the broader community, significantly enhancing the paper’s reach and influence. Good luck at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

Thank you, Sadie Zagwoski, Ryan Tattersall, Lily Struble for your incredible dedication to The Paupack Press. Your hard work and contributions have made a lasting impact. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
