As we gear up to bid farewell to another incredible school year, it’s time to give a big shout-out to one of our amazing seniors, Emma Cykosky. Emma’s journey through high school has been nothing short of remarkable, filled with passion, leadership, and a whole lot of heart.
Even though high school can be stressful, Emma still involves herself in many activities! From tearing up the court as part of the varsity basketball team to taking charge in Health Occupations Students of America(HOSA) and the National Honor Society, Emma’s leadership skills shine brightly. Emma is also a Student Ambassador.
Emma’s dedication to the Tafton Fire Company stands as a beacon of selflessness and community spirit. As a volunteer firefighter, EMS responder, and dive team member, she embodies the essence of service, fearlessly answering the call to help others in times of need. Her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the fire company not only demonstrates her exceptional work ethic but also reflects her deep-rooted compassion for those around her. Emma’s willingness to put herself on the line for the safety and well-being of her community is nothing short of admirable, leaving an enduring impact that will be felt long after her time at the fire company.
And then there’s her passion for helicopter flying with High-Tech Helicopters, Inc. Emma’s dream of joining the Army as a commissioned Second Lieutenant, after she graduates from the Millersville University ROTC program, to fly attack and transport helicopters shows her adventurous spirit and a whole lot of courage.
As Emma is getting ready to take the next big step at Millersville University as she intends to study Emergency Management with a minor in Military Science. We know she’s destined for greatness. Thanks for being such an incredible part of our school community. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next!
