This spring, the WAHS Players reprise the show Les Misérables for the 20th anniversary of Mrs. Hoffmann’s original performance of the show. The show has just begun rehearsals and is set to be shown to the public April 11 through 14 in the WAHS auditorium. Les Misérables features a compelling story in sung-through musical format based on Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel bearing the same title. The story follows ex-convict Jean Val Jean and others through the suffering and pain of the French Revolution. Seniors Jake Vechio (Jean Val Jean), Alex Seretis (Javert), Jordyn Fontano (Madame Thénardier), Destiny Charles (Lesgles), and James Kaminski (Bamatabois) are among the cast for their last WAHS Player Performance. Finally, if anyone is interested in joining the WAHS Players as a stage crew member, there will be a meeting on January 12 in the black box from 3-4 for all interested.
