Movie fans worldwide have been waiting for this year’s films to be released. As a huge movie fan, I cannot wait for these films to be released to the public! So, in this article, I will be giving my opinion on what top ten movies you should see this year.
10- FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S
Many fans have waited years for this amazing game to be put on the big screen. The huge hit game was released in 2014, making it one of the best-selling games to this day. The huge franchise had made nine games in total and has a huge book series. The film will be released this year in October. This film did not give us any big details yet, but the cast has been released with Matthew Lillard, who plays Shaggy in “Scooby-Doo.”
9- THE LITTLE MERMAID
The iconic red-haired mermaid is making it to the big screen on May 26. The story follows a mermaid, Ariel, who wants to travel to the human world, but her father will not let her due to his hating humans. The original movie was released in 1989. If you enjoy “Disney” and “The little mermaid,” then you will enjoy this magical remake.
8- BLUE BEETLE
The crime fighting Blue Beetle will be arriving in theaters August 18! “Blue Beetle” is about Jaime Reyes, an 18-year-old boy, becoming the Blue Beetle. Blue Beetle is a DC comic book and movie. The role will be played by Xolo Maridueña, who plays the iconic Miguel Diaz in the hit karate show “Cobra Kia.”
7- TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES
The iconic known show is coming to theaters in August. The movie is about four brothers, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, who are mutant turtles and
Ninjas. The animation on this film will remind you of the hit movie in 2018
“Spider-Man into the Spider-verse.” This movie will be worth the wait!
6- HUNGER GAMES – THE BALLAD OF SONGS-BIRDS AND SNAKES
The prequel to the most popular dystopian franchise is coming to theaters later this year. The movie is set during the tenth hunger games in the perspective of Snows view. He meets Lucy Gray Baird, the victor chosen from district twelve. The movie will not have Katniss Everdeen from what we heard, but it is fun to see our favorite series come back on the big screen.
5- TRANSFORMERS RISE OF THE BEASTS
Transformers will be released June 9. The film is set years before our favorite main character, Sam Witwickey, comes in. The film is based on the hit show “Transformers Beast Wars.” The movie will have a new cast coming in too.
4- THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE
This movie is already in theaters! The film became a hit when it was released, the film made 531.8 million dollars worldwide! The film had past “Frozen 2” and became the most money opening weekend for animation. The film is based on our favorite two Italian brothers, Mario, and Luigi.
3- GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
This film will be released May 5. The movie is the last “Guardians of the Galaxy.” “Marvel” has been one of the most popular franchises in the world. The movie will have all our favorite characters and a few fresh faces.
2- BARBIE
The film will be released November 23. The film had used the hit toy “Barbie” as its main character. “Barbie”has been a huge deal in every little kid’s childhood! Honestly, which little girl did not own one of them? The film will have Margaret Robbie, who plays our favorite “DC” girl “Harley Quinn.”
1- SPIDER-MAN ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE The film will be released to the big screen June 2! The film is a sequel to “Spiderman into the Spider-verse.” The film will follow our favorite character, Miles Morales, as he becomes the new Spider-Man and must face new threats. The film has inspired new art animation for films! I am optimistic for this film, and I bet it will be a hit!
